What is a PTP?
Paid to promote sites pay you to promote their own home page or to put a special code (CPM Code) on your website. After you put this code, your site will display a banner that pay you for every unique visualization (Impression). CPM means "
Cost Per Mille" or better "
Cost Per Thousand" (Mille is the Latin for Thousand).
Example:
...Our CPM is 6$...
This means that every 1000 unique visits they pay you 6$ and the value of every impression is 0,006 $ (Cost Per Impression).
Every site has its conditions to count unique IP. In the most cases an unique IP is counted every 24h, but in some cases they count IP every 12h or less. When an IP is repeated and counted every time without considering the time between two identical IP they call hits that you send "
Raw Hits".
Not all the PTP sites accept every kind of traffic(you can check it in their sites). They can accept all traffic or accept only the traffic of certain countries or have a list of sites that they have already approved.
Not all the autosurfs and other advertising nets accept all the PTP pages because often these pages have too much popups or sometimes they could alter the correct visualization.
